How much does a heat pump service cost?

£299 for an annual service on any make, with no call out fee. A service with a full efficiency tune is £349. Repairs are from £99 diagnosis fee, then a fixed price for the fix.

How often should an air source heat pump be serviced?

Once a year. Most manufacturers make an annual service a condition of the warranty, and a yearly clean of the outdoor unit and check of the glycol and filters is what keeps efficiency up.

Can you service a heat pump that someone else installed?

Yes, any make: Mitsubishi, Daikin, Vaillant, Samsung, Grant, Worcester Bosch, Ideal and more. If your installer has gone quiet, we’ll take over the servicing and keep the warranty records in order.

What does a heat pump service include?

Cleaning the outdoor unit coil and fan, checking refrigerant pressures and for leaks, testing the glycol or antifreeze, cleaning filters and strainers, checking the cylinder, immersion and expansion vessel, checking the electrics and controls, and reviewing the settings for efficiency.

My heat pump seems expensive to run. Can a service help?
